Rick Sebastian had the great honor and privilege of attending The White House Forum on Business Innovation Thursday, September 27, 2012 in Washington, D.C. in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, adjacent to the West Wing. HTC is a member of the Social Enterprise Alliance, and was one of one of eight not-for-profit organizations selected by the White House. Rick was excited to represent HTC and to participate in this energy-filled, thought-provoking event. The speakers included high government officials, top banking executives, and CEOs from leading for-profits and not-for-profits around the world, including Steve Case, co-founder and former CEO of AOL, Jostein Solheim, CEO of Ben & Jerry’s, and Shazi Visram, Founder & CEO of Nurture, Inc. and Happy Family. The event was chaired by Jonathan Greenblatt, Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation.
