Oneida County awards $22M Environmental Services contract to Human Technologies

Oneida County has awarded a multi-year contract for custodial services to Human Technologies worth over $22,000,000.  The contract is for 5 years, with two (2) three year extension options, for a total of 11 years.

The scope of work includes providing custodial, floor care, and related cleaning processes at 17 sites throughout the county, including:

  • The County Office Building, County Courthouse, Union Station, Law Library, Health Department, and Health Clinic buildings in Utica.
  • The Federal Reserve/DWI building, Department of Public Works, Law Enforcement, Farm & Home, and 911 buildings in Oriskany.
  • The County Courthouse, Department of Motor Vehicles and Family Court, and Social Services buildings in Rome.
  • Three field houses in Westmoreland, Waterville, and Camden.


The County has been extremely satisfied with Human Technologies’ performance, and especially the timely, professional, and successful response to the enhanced cleaning and disinfecting requirements at all sites brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Human Technologies has been providing these services to Oneida County since 2011.
