For Christopher Peterson, the past 11 years at Human Technologies have been a journey of determination, personal growth, and discovering his own potential. Once a quiet, reserved employee, Chris is now a respected leader, a valued teammate, and the recipient of the 2026 NYSID Outstanding Performance Award.
On Wednesday, October 21, Chris was celebrated at NYSID’s Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony in Schenectady, New York, surrounded by people who have supported and encouraged him along the way. But this recognition represents much more than an award. It celebrates a remarkable journey of personal and professional growth.

When Chris first joined Human Technologies in March 2015, he was quiet, reserved, and still discovering what he was capable of achieving.
Over the years, through hard work, encouragement, and the support of his colleagues and supervisors, Chris began to find his confidence.
His dedication and dependability earned him greater responsibilities, eventually advancing into a leadership role within Human Technologies’ Commercial Cleaning Services team.
Today, Chris is known not only for the quality of his work but also for his commitment to helping others succeed.
Chris’s journey demonstrates the incredible potential within each individual. With the right support, encouragement, and opportunities, that potential can develop into meaningful personal and professional growth. We’ve watched Chris grow from a quiet, reserved individual into a confident, respected leader, recently earning a promotion to Project Supervisor. His dedication, work ethic, and personal growth are truly inspiring. We couldn’t be prouder of Chris and his accomplishments.
