Human Technologies Partners with Catalyze to Bring Community Solar to Frankfort, NY
Human Technologies is proud to announce that it has partnered with Catalyze, a leading developer of renewable energy, to transform a former brownfield site in Frankfort, NY, into a 4.8 MW community solar project. While Catalyze is leading the development and installation of the project, Human Technologies is excited to lease the land and play a role in this impactful initiative.
This land, once deemed unfit for traditional development, now hosts a solar farm that will deliver clean energy to residential and commercial customers, including low- and middle-income households. Importantly, no greenfields were disturbed in this process, further supporting our commitment to sustainability.
“At Human Technologies, we are committed to not only creating meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities but also to supporting initiatives that benefit the communities where we live and work,” said Tim Giarrusso, President/CEO of Human Technologies. “Partnering with Catalyze on this solar project allows us to contribute to both environmental sustainability and local economic growth by transforming a former brownfield into a source of clean, renewable energy for our region.”
This project showcases how innovative solutions can breathe new life into challenging spaces, creating a brighter future for our community. We’re excited to see the positive effects this renewable energy initiative will bring to Frankfort and beyond.
