Human Technologies has manufactured numerous items in support of our war fighters for several decades. Most recently, these have included:
Head Harnesses, used as part of a gas mask assembly. Manufactured from all Berry Amendment-compliant materials (100% USA domestic product), these harnesses require over 36 separate cutting and sewing processes. Production started in the mid 1990s and peaked during the mid 2000s to 2013, when we produced between 24,000 and 40,000 units per month.
Chemical Protective Helmet Covers, used as part of the Army’s complete chemical protective system. This Berry Amendment-compliant product requires strict material testing, production lot traceability, and specialty tooling to sew the elastic inside the outer perimeter in “shower cap” fashion. Quality requirements are understandably high given the critical protective nature of the product, and our record is impeccable, with no returns for manufacturing defects since production began in 2002. Sustained monthly quantities have been as high as 40,000 units.
Pilot Clipboards, used by airmen from all branches of the Department of Defense. This a unique, lightweight, and smaller clipboard that is designed to strap to the leg of the airmen. It is used as part of their pre-flight checklists and for other necessary in-flight logs. It is manufactured from plastic sheet, narrow web nylon and polyester, and hardware, all Berry Amendment compliant. This is considered batch production, with typical production runs of 4,000 to 12,000.
Modern Robotics and their parent company Dataport Systems, design and manufacture a wide range of robotic sensors, receivers, cables, and related hardware.
We provide electro-mechanical assembly services to produce their power extension cables, which are used to connect the power distribution module to motor and servo controllers. These double ended/double sided cables assemblies require cutting, splicing, installing and setting connectors, and electrical and pull testing.
These are manufactured in traceable lots of 10,000 units. We have also provided parts kitting and distribution for Modern Robotics, including export freight services to overseas customers.
The United States Postal Service is an independent agency of the United States government responsible for providing postal service in the United States.
We manufacture an Identification Marker made from Kydex, a thermoplastic acrylic-polyvinyl chloride material, which is used to sort and separate mail at post offices throughout the United States. Raw Kydex sheets are sheared, die cut, stamped with identifiers, hot formed, and cold formed.
These are manufactured in quantities from 1,500 to 10,000, and in seven colors, representing each day of the week.
